Here comes the bride... or is it here comes the grooms? On the sunny afternoon of June 24th, Max Brasler and Sid Tessier’s wedding ceremony officially began. Ran by the city of Chambers, outside residents had to pay a toll to enter the well-decorated venue. Chamber counselor Hannah even stated how she was “surprised by how quickly” her city planned the wedding and how, as a counselor, she found the event extremely ”touching”.

“They grow up so fast”, she commented with pride.

However, it was not just the members of the city, Chambers, or county of Rosa that were present for this ceremony. There was a wide selection of counties, each represented through blue, green, yellow, and orange lanyards, all scattered throughout the venue patio.

As the event started, the groomsmen and bridesmaids all walked down the aisle that was carefully decorated with plants and flowers. The song of choice, “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley, was sung live by the city's musicians. One of the guitarists, Kate Ben, shared how “music unites all,” and that’s exactly what happened. As the music echoed throughout the wedding, each individual within the audience was visibly in awe.

Once Max and Sid were at the stand, they held hands, exchanged rings, and were officially announced Husbands... or at least they were almost there. To the horror of many, George Xie ran onto the stage, objecting to the wedding in want of Sid to be his. However, police enforcement got involved, and our grooms got there happily ever after. At the end, they were officially announced huzz and huzz, becoming united with each other and simultaneously uniting the two counties through their ceremonies. Make sure to wish our grooms a happy honeymoon!
