Last night, the Federalist candidates for partisan state office delivered powerful speeches as to why they are the best to lead California forward. In the Federalist system, one endorsement was made per position, but all candidates will still appear on the ballot today. The candidates are as follows:
Ansh Gosain running for Lt. Governor, Neil Karia running for treasurer, Julia Lopez running for Secretary of State, An Nguyen running for Attorney General, Adam Butler running for insurance commissioner, Valentin Garcia running for Controller, and Lisa Borowik for Governor.
“Stand on business” is what Lisa Borowik asserted during her speech for Federalist Governor nominee. Not only does she stand on business but that she stands for the “Melting Pot of America;” for justice in our state, for equality and to support our citizens.
If you look up the heart of the bay area you will find An Nguyen’s home city, and not only that but you will also find how much heart she has for the position of Attorney General. Nguyen is striving to earn Federalist Attorney General nomination and she feels like the legal system underrepresents immigrants and is extremely backlogged. As Attorney General she intends to change that and make sure swift justice is delivered as she campaigns under the motto, “Justice delayed is Justice denied.”
These candidates' values shone across their campaigns and are the endorsed individuals for the Federalist Party to face off against the Whigs in the General Election tomorrow (if they win the top 2 primary, which ignores party and simply places the top 2 vote-getters into the general election.
