Cenoz County Pre-Election

Candidate introductions for Cenoz County positions took place on June 21st, 2026. Each delegate spoke for approximately one minute among their competitors to introduce themselves, reinforce their visions for the county, and convince citizens of their qualifications the day prior to the nonpartisan county election. The crowd’s roars could be heard throughout the night as fellow citizens and friends supported each candidate.

Casey Carter is one of the candidates for Cenoz County’s district attorney. He promises all citizens of Cenoz County that he will quickly respond to any cases where he is needed. He is a man of faith and he has confidence in his abilities as he has seen the court process firsthand. He is excited to try his legal skills out for himself to serve his fellow citizens. 

Noah Contreras previously held an internship at a law firm, so he believes that he has the experience to be a district attorney that can protect his fellow citizens and meet their demands. He is confident in his ability to win all of his cases, and he is willing to study the law in depth in order to effectively represent the county.

Lila Hakobyan prioritized her volunteering experience and proposed initiatives meant to change and advance things in the community: emphasizing a want to collaborate with education for legal literacy in the county to build a community with less crime. 

Dylan Lee is a candidate who calls for justice and change as his primary focus. He disapproves of government actions that deviate from justice and the principle of serving the people. He is willing to make changes to the government, so that it truly benefits all citizens. Lee mentions Kamala Harris as an example of how legal reforms can be successful, so he wants to do something similar.

Luphy Ma has experience in law, including serving in mock trial. She has also had experience volunteering at a local poorhouse. Moreover, she derives much of her credibility from the claim that she has read every page of the Boys and Girls State government manual and with that comprehensive knowledge of government she can navigate the position of District Attorney. 

The County also welcomed candidates for the County Superintendent of Schools the same evening!

Om Lala is a candidate for the superintendent of schools of Cenoz County. In his speech, he mentioned that just like everyone else, he was a kid once. When he was six years old he wanted to become someone who is in charge of schools; he believes that education is important and every kid deserves it. In his speech he declared that he would advocate to the senator and governor for improvements to education if needed. 

Evan Potwora is another candidate for superintendent. He thoughtfully noted that babysitting is hard, and it is especially hard for teachers since they essentially have to babysit 30 kids. His focus is to develop better working environments for teachers while also ensuring that they keep up with the standards of their respective curriculum. 

Trenton Silva is a candidate and the son of a teacher. Throughout his life he learned from his mother about education and especially how hard it gets. A point from his speech was that schools should promote more CTE classes that prepare students for their careers. 

The Statement is happy to outline the agendas of the impressive candidates for each role and congratulates every candidate for their efforts to campaign for County positions.
